lunch

Today I am taking lunch at my desk. I am cruising around online, perusing archived blogs, looking for out of print thurber books, and munching on a gigantic turkey sub from al capone's. I realize that my normal work day, when I'm not eating lunch, is exactly like this. except for the gigantic turkey sub.

dear tom - your post has made me very hungry for an italian hoagie from subway. it is 11:20PM and no way I can walk all the way down 16th street for a hoagie. i ate mussells dan bought from the market and now i want to throw chunks, very unpleasant I KNOW.

as you know, felecia was in philly this weekend and her visit made me realize one very important thing. I WANT AN iPOD. i want lots of music and white ear plug thingees and i want a mini so i can get it in purple. it would be purple and shiny and i would name it "my tiny purple ipod". that's the worst pet name ever but it was on the spot, what can i say.

i am making up for never posting in your blog. i read it every night when i get home from work (in between doing work i brought home from work, pointing and laughing is expected). sometimes i just do not have the energy to comment. it takes like four more steps for me to post since i do not have blogger. the name blogger reminds me of the days when i used to play frogger with my sister on atari. those were some good days.

i hope you enjoyed this comment. i skipped posting in my lj to comment in other blogs. we all make sacrifices.

  3. Adina, thank you for the post.
    1. we do not call them hoagies, ever. and neither should you
    2. I think that is a great name for an ipod. I love it.
    3. I'm flattered that you are part of a faithful audience. That's really all I ever wanted. :)
